This year, following the philosophy of reducing emissions, Kaifu District has laid emphasis on pollution control through scientific, coordinated, and precise measures to protect the environment. 

By June 15, Wujialing and Shaping Control Station had reported 154 days and 155 days of good air respectively, a year-on-year increase of 28 days and 23 days. The air quality rate of Kaifu District ranks the first in the five districts of Changsha City.
