Kaifu invites you to check out rural scenery during May Day holiday

The May Day holiday is coming soon, and it's time to have an outing in late spring.

Kaifu District released eight tourist attractions where Changsha citizens can enjoy beautiful and peaceful idyllic scenery by driving a dozen kilometers northward.

Hedaoyuan Farm is a national five-star farm, based on the Ouyue (a new species of Chinese rose introduced from Europe) planting industry, combined with special fish farming, vegetable cultivation, seedling breeding, etc.. It also have a series of products with local characteristics including dried vegetables, jarred vegetables, preserved meet, fire roasted fish, the Hui nationality roasted whole lamb, Hui national beef jerky.

As a large integrated villa, it is a perfect choice for rural tourism since it has banquet halls, VIP rooms, KTV, game rooms, environmental theme container rooms, and also provides sites for sauce wine tasting, parent-child classes, team building, self-service barbecue and beach bonfire party.

Daming Mountain Villa is a national five-star leisure farm which integrates conference services, training, accommodation, catering, fitness, fishing, breeding, outdoor training, sightseeing and research tour. It can accommodate 150 people and cater to 1,000 customers at one time. It has basic facilities such as basketball court, table tennis room, chess and cards room, tea room, children's playground, etc. In addition, it provides more than 30 sets of research courses and CS laser battle base and among them, the “Flying Jungle” adventure base provides excellent service for team building.

Haitian Mountain Villa is a provincial five-star farm covering an area of more than 49 acres. The farm is blessed with natural beauty and over 100,000 trees of more than 60 types have been planted here.

Hecun African Cultural Park is a provincial five-star farm, helping Chinese people get close to Africa. It set up a window to Africa in Hunan Province.

The Changsha Ecological Garden covers an area of 167 acres. It is a rare park in the suburb as the splendid natural scenery complements the rich historical and cultural landscape of the Laodaohe River. The garden is planned to be a leading flowers base in Changsha, the grand garden of plants and a modern ecological park integrating garden scientific research, flower seedling production, science education, gardening display, leisure and entertainment, tourism and vacation.

Hanhui Village, the only ethnic minority village in Changsha, is about 10 kilometers away from the city center. In this village, where the mountains and rivers reflect each other, and the Han and Hui people live in harmony. The village includes both the Buddhist Iron Furnace Temple and the Islamic Mosque. As a national 3A-level tourist scenic spot, it has won the honorary titles of “Hunan Provincial Beautiful Village”, “Famous Tourist Village in Hunan Province”, “Village with Chinese Minority Characteristics in China” and others. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, it enjoys a pleasant natural environment with fresh air and it can be described as a “natural oxygen bar”.

The Shaping Hunan Embroidery Museum is the first privately-owned museum of Hunan embroidery industry in our province. It covers an area of nearly 4,000 square meters, with thousands of collections and nearly ten thousand books. The basic display of “Shaping embroidery” is divided into six chapters: history, characters, crafts, inheritance, enterprises, and works. The exhibition is based on physical collections, accompanied by pictures, texts, images, sculptures, scenes and other auxiliary exhibits and on-site interactive demonstrations, providing a place for the audience to visit and experience Hunan embroidery art.

Jiuhua High-tech has cole flowers in Spring and golden chrysanthemum in Autumn. It is the first standard industrial park with a whoe chain of golden chrysanthemums in China. There are flower seas, farmland and weekend bazaar. Hanhui Village and Hedaoyuan Farm are in its surrounding.

The above mentioned eight places cover various rural tourist routes for parent-child adventure, parent-child leisure, African culture, and natural science popularization. There will be different discount packages for different groups of people. Medical staff can enjoy free tickets for some activities.
