The GDP of Changsha’s Kaifu District reached 103 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of 9.5 percent, passing 100 billion yuan for the first time.

In 2018, Kaifu District achieved general public budget revenue of 13.49 billion yuan, an increase of 12.7 percent and tax revenue of 11.91 billion yuan, a growth of 17.5 percent; the per capita disposable income of residents reached 53,680 yuan. The district has formed a high-quality development pattern bringing together finance, cultural innovation, trade logistics and military and civilian integration, and ranked among the top 100 districts of China for high-quality development in 2018.

Shen Yumou, secretary of the CPC Kaifu District Committee, said that the district will carry out 203 major projects in 2019 as well as further improve the business environment and speed up industrial transformation and upgrading, trying to make its GDP grow more than 9 percent.
