The Hunan Youth Traditional Culture Season as well as National Style Grand Ceremony was launched in Chaozong Street Historical and Cultural Block on the afternoon of April 10.

Intangible cultural heritage inheritors, Chinese clothing enthusiasts, young entrepreneurs, and young musicians across Hunan participated in the ceremony to bring a China-Chic feast to citizens and tourists with colorful traditional Chinese clothes and Chinese folk music.

The National-style Original Music Competition for Hunan’s university students was held at the same time.

At the grand ceremony, young dancers from the Central South University performed group dances to reproduce the bustling Changsha at the Lantern Festival.

Zhi Suxi, a national style musician with her works having more than 1 billion of view counts on the music platform, integrated the costumes, folk music and the old street into her musical work.

In the ancient lane of Nanmu Hall of Chaozong Street, 22 intangible cultural heritage booths of Shaping Xiang Embroidery, ribbon weaving, paper cuttings, etc. were lined up.

8 traditional intangible cultural heritage experience spots were opened in Chaozong Street, like the Shiwu School and Chaozong Pavilion, with such experience games as poetry recitation, sachet making, and paper cuttings for window decoration set up.

Tourists dressed in traditional Chinese clothing can enjoy exclusive discounts and win commemorative prizes by shopping in designated shops on Chaozong Street until this weekend.
