In order to get enterprises out of difficult situations and boost consumption after the stagnancy caused by the COVID-19 in the first half of 2020, the committee and government of Kaifu District held various consumption and promotion activities, among which the shopping carnival in the second half of 2020 stimulated the economy of the district.

The consumption activity covers many fields such as catering, entertainment, leisure, fitness, culture and tourism, and automobile and gas. Citizens who purchase automobiles in the activity will be given a gift, a card for refueling vehicles. Besides, the committee and government of Kaifu District have prepared many gift packages of Mango Consumption Privileges for consumers. The package includes tickets for top variety shows of Hunan TV, tickets for popular scenic spots in Kaifu District, VIP of Mango TV, and so on, covering different aspects of daily life. Up to now, more than ten thousand consumers have won the gift packages.

In addition, Kaifu District has accelerated the integration of online and offline consumption by combining shopping in brick-and-mortar stores and purchasing from live streaming platforms. It has also taken advantage of the new business form of live streaming, and implemented many preferential polices together to promote consumption and release consumption potential.

In the circumstances, the annual consumption activity was held by Kaifu District on January 14 to encourage stores, award business owners, and benefit citizens. The commercial complexes that have made great contribution to economy were commended in the activity. Besides, there was a lucky draw in the activity to pick the lucky consumers for the Gas Consumption Festival and Consumption Carnival.
