The biopharmaceutical industry has become one of the important engines for the high-quality development of industries in Kaifu District. 

In the Hengchang Pharmaceutical Headquarters Base located in Jinxia Economic Development Zone, Building 1 of Phase I is currently in trial operation, and the smart warehousing and logistics center of Building 2 has been put into use since October 2022. The project is expected to be fully completed in the second quarter of this year.

The Hengchang Pharmaceutical Headquarters Base project has received widespread attention since it settled in Kaifu. 

In the early stages of construction, the transportation on the north side of the project site was inconvenient. Jinxia Economic Development Zone took active measures to upgrade the roads. 

In addition, the park provided efficient government services for the enterprise, advancing the project efficiently and strengthening the enterprise’s confidence in investing in the district.

“Kaifu District is the only urban area in Hunan Province that integrates the transportation advantages of water transportation, railway, highway, aviation, and pipeline. With the advantages of openness and the biopharmaceutical industry agglomeration, it provides favorable conditions for the company to seize development opportunities,” said the head of Hengchang Pharmaceutical Group, adding that the company will continue efforts to improve its core competitiveness and set up an industry benchmark to promote the high-quality development of the entire pharmaceutical industry chain in Kaifu District.

Jinxia Economic Development Zone will provide precise services, establish a normalized matchmaking mechanism, and solve the practical difficulties faced by the enterprises to be listed in their current development to spur their growth.

In 2024, Kaifu District will work to attract high-quality enterprises and projects, optimize full-cycle services for projects, and extend and strengthen the industrial chain to promote the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical and health industry in the entire district.
