The main structure of the China South National Digital Publishing Base project in Kaifu District, Changsha City was capped recently, and is now under decoration. The project is expected to be completed this year.

The project is invested by China South Publishing & Media Group, a subsidiary of Hunan Publishing Group, with an investment of 2.449 billion yuan and a total construction area of about 293,000 square meters. 

It includes an industrial office building, a digital culture and art center, a multi-functional center, etc. New business types like an office base, a creative center, a data center and a publishing museum will be developed. It’s a digital publishing “dream factory” integrating new industries such as short videos, new media and Internet education.

In 2023, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park introduced 40 leading audio and video companies such as iQIYI, CGYEAR and CreateOne Technology, implemented 30 key projects, and had 1,035 new enterprises. 

In addition, the park has taken a series of measures and policies to promote project construction.

Now, advantageous industries in the park are gathering, and project construction sites are a hive of activity. The main structure of such projects as Malanshan Animation Film and Television Building and Malanshan International New Media Center have been completed. 

In 2024, while taking full use of Changsha to be a global R&D center city, Kaifu District will strongly support the high-quality development of Malanshan Park, introduce and cultivate more leading cultural enterprises, promote the integrated development of culture and technology, accelerate to form new quality productive forces, and contribute to the rise of Central China.
