Recently, the China (Changsha) Geographic Indication (GI) Intelligent Innovation Ecological Park (the headquarters base) project settled in the Sutuoyuan Area, Kaifu District, Changsha City, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. The project consists of three parts: GI Hunan Expo Area, the GI China Expo Area, and GI International Expo Area. 

The project will be built by China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited, a Fortune 500 enterprise, as well as China New Building Holdings Group. And the project is being promoted.

Sutuoyuan Area is one of the first development zones of Jinxia New Town, and Kaifu District plans to develop Sutuoyuan into North Malanshan Area, and build an industrial system with cultural creations as the main focus as well as cultural tourism consumption and sci-tech innovation research and development as the auxiliary industries.

Now, the district government has established a joint venture with Changsha Urban Development Group, and preliminary results have been achieved in the industrial panning, urban design and planning work of Sutuoyuan Area.

The Sutuoyuan Area will be comprehensively built into a smart and low-carbon park city, achieving the high-quality integrated development of industry, city, and people.
