On the morning of February 20, the groundbreaking ceremony for the key projects of Changsha Kaifu Sci-tech Innovation Valley was held at the Sci-tech Innovation Exchange Center and the Talent Apartment plot.

There are 9 key projects under construction in Changsha Kaifu Sci-tech Innovation Valley, with a total investment of 16.4 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 2.7 billion yuan.

Among them, the Hunan Innovation Headquarters and Industrial Base Construction Project of CASC will create an “aerospace plus” industry cluster, with an expected annual output value of 5 billion yuan after reaching the target production.

The Tianhui Aerospace Industry Park project will be built into a production and testing base of liquid rocket engines, with an annual output value of 4 billion yuan.

In addition, the construction of 10 technology innovation projects will continue this year, with a total investment of 7.7 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 1.9 billion yuan. The total investment in technology innovation projects exceeds 24 billion yuan.

Changsha Kaifu Sci-tech Innovation Valley, relying on universities such as National University of Defense Technology and Xiangya School of Medicine, aims to create a new highland for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements with the best environment, strongest innovative atmosphere, and most vibrant vitality, and to build a new engine for the Malanshan base and the Jinxia base of National University of Defense Technology, contributing to the construction of Changsha as a global research and development center city.
