In 2023, Jinxia Economic Development Zone (Jinxia EDZ) ranked first in provincial-level industrial parks in the new increase of industrial enterprises above designated size, as well as the number of new national specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprises and provincial specialized and innovative enterprises.

In 2023, Jinxia EDZ introduced 78 projects with a total investment of 18.618 billion yuan throughout the year, hitting a new high in the number and quality of projects. 

It was awarded the title of a sci-tech innovation park of private enterprises by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and one of Hunan’s top ten open parks. 

Last year, 42 key industrial projects were built with a total investment of 24.45 billion yuan.

The “large aircraft ground dynamics test platform” project, one of Hunan’s major landmark projects for sci-tech innovation, passed the test. 

Five tasks in scientific and technological innovation, promotion of high-quality industrial development and safety production were praised by the city government. 

Financial support and a first-class business environment for enterprises are crucial to the park development. Jinxia EDZ has pioneered the paperless approval model in provincial-level industrial parks, with an approval efficiency increase of 35% year on year. 

About 90 million yuan of economic development rewards and industrial support funds were cashed throughout the year. And a credit of 102 million yuan was granted to 29 enterprises in the park through risk compensation funds. 

Three bus routes were optimized and two customized bus routes for enterprises were opened for free.

In 2024, Jinxia EDZ will promote its high-quality development through seven measures. It will accelerate the construction of Jinxia New Town and development of key areas like Guan’gonghu, Gaoling and industrial clusters. While building NUDT Jinxia Base, it will accelerate the operation of the pilot base of Hunan Institute of Advanced Technology, and comprehensively build a whole chain innovation system of research and development verification in the sci-tech innovation valley, trial production and transformation in Gaoling, and development and growth in the Jinxia industrial cluster.
