On June 12, the 2023 China (Changsha) Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park Province-ministry Co-construction Promotion Conference was held in the park.

In recent years, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park has adhered to integrity and innovation, firmly integrated the development of “culture plus technology”, built top-class innovation teams, and established high-end innovation platforms, laying a solid foundation for building the “China V Valley”.

From 2021 to 2022, the enterprises in the park achieved revenue of more than 115.5 billion yuan and tax revenue of more than 6.3 billion yuan. Investment in fixed assets exceeded 20.1 billion yuan and investment in major projects exceeded 15 billion yuan. There are 1,877 newly introduced enterprises, 145“four types of enterprises above designated size”, and 115 high-tech enterprises. 

With the implementation of the province-ministry co-construction mechanism, a number of key projects in the park have achieved remarkable results. The “5G Key Laboratory” has accelerated its application for a national key laboratory and planned to jointly build the Malanshan Branch of the National Radio and Television Network Engineering Technology Research Center with its partners. 

The “Artificial Intelligence Sign Language Television Broadcasting System” has been applied in 340 television stations and convergence media centers nationwide. The iteration and upgrade of 5G smart radio station has been advanced, with 946 contracts signed up. The first industry index, the “Malanshan Index”, was established in the national video cultural and creative industry. The construction of the China (Hunan) Radio and Television Media Integration Development Innovation Center has been promoted, and new achievements have been made in high-quality creation and foreign exchange and cooperation.

At the conference, the list of key projects of Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industry Park jointly built by the province and the ministry in 2023-2024 was announced, which includes projects such as the establishment of the Malanshan Network Audiovisual Talent Training Base of National Radio and Television Administration in Malanshan New Media College, the production of themed TV dramas by Xiao Xiang Film Group and the 2023 Malanshan Mango Festival.

At the signing ceremony, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park signed on-site contracts with Hengdian Film and Television Cultural Industry Cluster, Suihuan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Heiweilan Film and Television Culture Communication Co., Ltd., etc.

On the same day, the launch ceremony of the 2023 Malanshan Mango Festival & the Audiovisual China Excellent Short Video Collection and Exhibition was also held, and the main activities of the 2023 Malanshan Mango Festival were released.
