This year, Jinxia New Town will make every effort to accelerate the development of such key areas as Sutuoyuan, Baixia, and Guan’gong Lake.

The Sutuoyuan area is currently accelerating the cooperation with the Hunan Fisheries Science Institute on the project of the institute. It is expected to complete the conceptual planning of the area by the end of this year and start the planning work in 2024. In the future, it will be built into demonstration sites for the first development zone in the north and rural reconstruction in the south.

In the Guangong Lake Functional Zone, several well-known schools have been built, such as Xiangyi Foreign Languages School. This year, the planning and construction of “Two Roads, Two Parks, Two Centers, One School, One Hospital, One Rural Settlement Building” will be accelerated. An area that integrates education, science and technology innovation, leisure, and living is about to rise.

From 2023 to 2025, 174 major projects will be carried out in Jinxia New Town, with a total investment of 197.9 billion yuan. Among them, a total of 48.2 billion yuan will be invested in 2023 to build high-quality development areas that integrate people, city and industry by increasing investment in transportation, housing, education, medical care, elderly care, recreation and sports, ecology and municipal administration.
