Kaifu District completed a total investment of 38.2 billion yuan for its major industrial projects in 2020, accounting for 196% of the annual investment plan, according to an economic work conference held by Kaifu District on January 7.  

The district launched 83 major provincial and municipal projects in 2020. It focused on four pillar industries of video cultural and creative industry, modern logistics, finance and commerce, and intelligent manufacturing. It systematically sorted out 36 key projects that will lay a foundation and generate long-term benefits. An investment of 22.4 billion yuan was completed, accounting for 113% of the plan. This injected a strong impetus into industrial development.

The district introduced 47 key industrial projects with a total investment of 34 billion yuan in 2020. Among them, there were 2 projects each with an investment exceeding 1 billion yuan. Two projects of Jinxia Industrial Cluster Area and QuaTerNes made the list of Changsha’s 17 landmark key manufacturing projects.

In 2020, the district’s Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industrial Park introduced 793 enterprises such as iQIYI and ByteDance, achieving a revenue of 43 billion yuan, up 16% from 2019.
