As a central pharmaceutical distribution enterprise established by Sinopharm, the Sinopharm Group Hunan is the largest medicine supply chain and heh service provider in Hunan province. It is engaged in chemical pharmaceutical preparations, antibiotics, proprietary Chinese medicines, biochemical pharmaceuticals, biological products, vaccines, medical devices, medical logistics, and supply chain services.

Since its foundation in 2004, Sinopharm Group Hunan has become the largest drug circulation enterprise in Hunan with an annual growth rate of 50% in terms of comprehensive business indicators. Both its sales and taxation of profit are in the top 50 national list among the pharmaceutical enterprises in China.

II. Project Introduction

The logistics center of Sinopharm Group Hunan is located at No. 299 Huaning Road, Jinxia Economic Development Zone. The project was introduced into the zone in December, 2008 as a project assigned during the Hunan (Shanghai) Investment and Trade Negotiation Week in June, 2008. It consists a modern logistics center, a comprehensive office building and supporting facilities of Sinopharm Group Hunan.

Covering an area of 30,000 square meters with 150 million yuan of investment, the logistics center has a warehousing capacity of 200,000 cartons, delivering a daily handling capacity of 60,000 cartons. The center is designed to handle 8,000 customer orders daily with an annual sales of 10 billion yuan.

The logistics center of Sinopharm Group Hunan is the largest and most professional one of its kind in south-central China. It has gained much attention from the government and become a name card of Hunan's bioengineering and pharmaceutical industry in adopting a modern medicine logistics mode that adopts technologies including supply chain, Internet of Things, and cloud computing. Its annual sales is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan, which will consolidate its top 1 position in the medicine industry of Hunan province.
